Safe Shooting

At Sirius Archery Products, we don’t take safety lightly. Our products should only be used by individuals knowledgeable on the proper use of a bow & arrow and aware of the risks of shooting carbon arrows. Serious injury to the operator can occur if safety precautions are not followed. Arrows can be damaged in a number of ways including impact with another arrow, hard objects, game animals, and improper handling. Prior to each use, the arrow should be carefully inspected for defects. This can be accomplished by rolling the arrow on a flat surface and looking for imperfections in the carbon. One should then grab the arrow at each end and flex the arrow 1-2 inches and listen for splintering or cracking noise in the shaft. NEVER use an arrow that is exhibiting signs of damage or fatigue.
